On 30 May 2024 the second webinar from the cycle of Ecology R&D Center presentations was held.
The webinar is devoted to the problems of gas purification in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and covers the following issues:
atmospheric emissions from metallurgical enterprises;
main sources of emissions;
product line of apparatuses and purification systems of Bakor;
experience in conducting semi-industrial testing with the use of ceramic pulse filters;
gas purification in primary copper production;
gas purification in tin, secondary copper, aluminium, zinc smelting;
purification of gases in arc steel melting furnaces, ferroalloy furnaces, sintering machines;
purification of gases in coke-chemical production (coke batteries, dry coke quenching units);
purification of gases at vacuumisation of liquid steel.
Also considered are modern technical solutions for achieving sanitary norms for pollutant emissions into the atmospheric air in accordance with the technological indicators of marker substances corresponding to the Information and Technical Handbook on Best Available Techniques (rus. ИТС НДТ).
