Working principle:
Centrifugal filter (Cyclone Dust Collector) with vertical axis of gas flow rotation in four-channel design.

The dusty gas stream enters the separation chamber 8 via the tangential inlet pipe 1. Due to the curvilinear trajectory, solid particles are concentrated at the periphery of each of the channels 6 and are discharged from them through the slots 7 into the previous channels in the flow path. From the first and second flow channels 6 dust, together with a part of gas, enters through the ring slot 4 into the cylindrical hopper - dust collector 3, where a large mass of particles settles down, and the lightest (small) fractions, continuing to hover, return through the slots 7 to the zone of active separation (channels) and are separated again. A dynamic gas-dust layer forms as a result of the internal circulating flows in the system of channels, which is a filter for particles newly arriving for gas purification.
Purpose:
For purifying gas-air streams from ash and dust at temperatures up to 450°C and solid particle concentrations up to 1000 g/m³. It is used as a preliminary cleaning stage before scrubbers, bag filters or ceramic filters.
