The pulp enters the bath (5) of the magnetic separator through the feed collector (2). Strongly magnetic minerals are attracted to the separator drum (1) under the action of the magnetic field in the magnetic system zone. The separator drum rotating moves magnetic minerals to the unloading zone - concentrate tray (8). Non-magnetic minerals and aggregates are removed from the bath by means of a discharge hatch installed at the bottom of the bath.

  • Sprayers with adjustable and easily cleanable nozzles (concentrate flushing system) 
  • The problem of insufficient resistance of the lower frame belt is solved by strengthening the load-bearing structure while maintaining mass and dimensional characteristics 
  • Screw manual lifting of the drum for adjusting the gap between the drum and the bathtub 
  • Electric drive for magnetic system rotation. The electric drive simplifies the process of turning the magnet system and also allows for remote turning. 
  • Lining made of chemical/mechanical resistant material (polyurea) 
  • Separate lubrication system for all bearings (3 lubrication points) without stopping the cage is done from the non-drive side of the cage. 
  • Easier replacement of drum bearings by mounting the bearings in cups 
  • Logistical problems and significant increase in the cost of foreign cages
