The pulp enters the bath (5) of the magnetic separator through the feed collector (2). Strongly magnetic minerals are attracted to the separator drum (1) by the action of the magnetic field within the magnetic system zone. The rotating separator drum moves magnetic minerals to the unloading zone, which is the concentrate tray (8). Non-magnetic minerals and aggregates are removed from the bath by means of a discharge hatch installed at the bottom of the bath.
